The food and ambience are excellent. The first time I came when they first opened, they had sold out of the focaccia. I was so excited to finally be able to try it and I can confirm, it’s worth the hype. If you’re ordering the squash soup or any of the pastas, the focaccia is a MUST to be able to dip in the soup or scoop up the rest of the delicious sauces left on the plate. The grilled octopus was tender and delicious, and the saffron risotto felt like a warm hug. The cocktail I had was bright and bubbly and refreshing. The service was excellent and all the staff were very friendly.

Beautiful, cavernous space. Open kitchen, well staffed, good service especially considering they’ve only been open 10 weeks. We enjoyed a nice bottle of Chardonnay, the fried calamari w local fish, fennel salad, burger, broccoli rabe, and duck lettuce wraps. Great stop before Mayo for a show.

I've visited 3 times now, once for lunch and twice for dinner. The Gulf Shrimp pasta and rotisserie chicken (lunch portion pictured) are excellent and not too heavy. For appetizers, I thought both the duck lettuce wraps and the fried pickled green tomatoes were very good. The duck and tomatoes themselves tasted great and they went well with the lettuce they were served with. I had mixed feelings about the sauces each dish came with but the flavors are bold so I can see others enjoying them. Scallops and tuna (appetizer) tasted very good. The only dish I've had that I didn't like was the focaccia lunch appetizer. It came with a variety of toppings that didn't really work together. The bread itself was very good once I scraped the toppings off and I think it would be better if they were served on the side. Desserts are very good as well. Portion sizes for everything leans on the smaller side but the quality of ingredients makes it worthwhile in my opinion. The service has always been good, but comparing my most recent visit to the ones shortly after they opened it's clear they've gotten even better. Would recommend a reservation as they're always busy. However, as a solo diner, I've always been able to walk in and get one of their counter seats.

Maybe it's because I had high expectations walking into this place. A long wait to get reservations for the dining room, etc. Don't get me wrong the meal was good, but it didn't blow me away. Small portions for the price. Solid presentation and flavors but they didn't make me say "wow!" Great atmosphere though and definitely worth a visit.
